  WHAT HAPPENED?

  Palmer hasn't exactly had the Euros that he had hoped for when he was named in Gareth Southgate's travelling squad. The Chelsea star has only made two appearances in Germany so far – both of them from the bench. In an interview with talkSPORT's Faye Carruthers, Carruthers pointed out to Palmer that she thought he had been 'overthing' things during a past game. The 22-year-old had a brilliant response lined up.

  There is a chance that Palmer may finally get a start from Southgate after showing plenty of promise during England's dramatic 2-1 win over Slovakia in their last-16 tie. It was Palmer's cross into the box that Ivan Toney headed on for Harry Kane's winner in extra time.
