Bayern Munich have reportedly reopened talks with Fulham to sign Joao Palhinha after their January bid fell flat on its face at the eleventh hour.

  WHAT HAPPENED?

  The Bavarian giants, eager to bolster their defensive midfield, have identified Palhinha as their top target, according to The Sky Sports journalist revealed that Bayern already have a "verbal agreement in principle" with the player and hence all essential contract details, which were initially negotiated last summer, remain valid.

They have already started negotiating with Fulham and are willing to shell out between €40-45 million (£34-38 million) for the midfielder.
