Guehi has been linked with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool in recent months but according to The Telegraph, Newcastle are set to gazump them all. THE BIGGER PICTURE
Guehi starred for England at Euro 2024 and according to The Telegraph, he could become a Newcastle player by the weekend. The 24-year-old is said to be very keen on the move and while he will be excited at the possibility of a transfer, this is a big blow for Palace – especially after losing winger Michael Olise to Bayern Munich earlier this summer.

DID YOU KNOW?
Guehi began his career at Chelsea but only played twice for the first-team in all competitions, before making an £18m ($23m) move to Palace in 2021. If he does head to Newcastle, he could become their record signing as Alexander Isak joined from Real Sociedad for £63m ($80.4m) in 2022.

WHAT NEXT?
While the behind-the-scenes work on this transfer continues, Guehi's Palace side take on Nantes in their final pre-season friendly on Sunday, whereas Newcastle entertain Girona and then Brest on Friday and Saturday respectively.
